Here are the seven rarest animals in the world

Pangolins: are unique mammals that have scales made of keratin. When they feel threatened by predators, they can curl up into a ball.

Axolotl: is an amazing amphibian with the ability to regenerate lost body parts. Because of its external gills, it has a feathery appearance.

Komodo dragons: Enormous lizards, Komodo dragons are mainly found on the Indonesian islands of Rinca, Gili Motang, Komodo, and Flores.

Okapi: is a herbivorous mammal that is indigenous to the Democratic Republic of Congo. It is commonly called the "African Unicorn."

Narwhals: are marine mammals that are frequently referred to as the "unicorn of the sea." Its head is adorned with a long, spiral tusk.

Platypus: an unusual mammal found only in Australia, is known to produce venom. It has a duck-like bill, webbed feet, and a tail resembling a beaver.

Aye-aye: is a nocturnal lemur that lives in Madagascar. It is distinguished by its peculiar way of foraging, known as percussion foraging, and by the long, thin middle finger it uses to pick insects from trees.
